Brett Reif is an artist who lives and works out of Kansas City, MO. Influenced by arte povera, Reif specializes in non-traditional media wall work, sculpture and installation. Currently Brett Reif is in a 3-year resident at Studio Inc. in downtown Kansas City. Reif has had solo exhibitions recently at the Kansas City Artists Coalition in Kansas City and the Du Mois Gallery in New Orleans with an upcoming solo exhibition at Studio Inc. His work was also recently featured in the online magazine Perversionmag.com and can be seen online at brettreif.com.
Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, Reif graduated from Loyola University with a BFA and received his MFA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Currently, Brett Reif is an Associate Professor at the Kansas City Art Institute and Director of the School of the Foundation Year.
